Put your dues to work on the local level. You can now choose from two types of Audubon memberships. You can remain a member of National with Prescott Audubon as your local chapter or you can become a chapter-only member of Prescott Audubon.

Why become a chapter-only member? The main advantage of chapter-only membership is that 100% of your dues will be used to support Prescott Audubon’s education, conservation and recreation programs. (in 2003 we will receive less than one dollar per member from National Audubon where in the past we received $5.50). Moreover, we will not share your name and contact information with other organizations except National Audubon, which will limit solicitations to three per year unless you choose, in writing, to decline these solicitations. As a chapter-only member you will not receive Audubon magazine, but will receive our newsletter Wingtips. Dues for the first year will be $12.00 for Seniors (60 and over), $15.00 for Regular. After the first year, $15.00 for Seniors and $20.00 for Regulars. Junior Memberships (ages through 18) are $7.50. We’ll send you a renewal notice a month before your membership expires. To become a chapter-only member, do not respond to renewal notices from National and return the renewal notice sent by the chapter.

To remain a National Audubon member with Prescott Audubon as your local chapter, simply renew with National Audubon as before. You’ll receive both Audubon magazine and our newsletter Wingtips. You can participate in elections on both levels. Dues for National Audubon are $20.00 for new members and $15.00 for Seniors.

Whatever your membership choice, all members are still considered to be a part of the Audubon family. Both National and Prescott Audubon are registered nonprofit (50103) organizations and dues and donations are tax exempt to the fullest extent of the law.
