Field Trip Committee Chairperson Needed

Attention birders, we have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and organized individual to step into the role of Field Trip Committee Chairperson. This important volunteer position offers a chance to lead a self-motivated team and help direct our birding excursions.

The field trip committee is currently comprised of nine dedicated volunteers that plan field trips that bring together birders of all experience levels and introduce various birding locations. Committee members contribute expertise in bird identification, trip logistics, and group leadership. Their efforts have resulted in a variety of popular trips that highlight the diversity of our region’s habitats and birdlife. The Field Trip Committee Chairperson also acts as the organizer and conduit between the committee and the Prescott Audubon Board, compiling reports on trip participation, feedback and suggestions. The Field Trip Committee Chairperson schedules committee meetings as needed, prepares the meeting agendas, facilitates discussion, and ensures that minutes and action items are clearly recorded and followed up on.

If you are passionate about birding, Prescott Audubon invites you to consider joining the Field Trip Committee—either as chairperson, contributing member or as a trip leader/coordinator. To express your interest, simply send a note to [email protected] if you are interested in becoming a part of this team.
